PROGRAMS

At Football Smarts Academy, we offer a range of programs for players that fall into the "Miniroos" category. This group includes Under 8s through to Under 11s. 

WEEKLY SESSIONS

​

WEEKLY SESSIONS are back in 2025 at Karinya! 

​

We will continue to be running sessions at Karinya in Blackwood in 2025. Sessions for MiniRoos aged between U8-U11/12 are offered. Players are able to come straight from school and experience football fun between 3.40-4.30 each Monday. Spots are strictly limited, Term 1-4 in 2024 was a sellout. Get in touch if you are interested.

Term 1 2025: 

​

Mondays 3.40-4.30 U8-U11

Mondays 4.35-5.25 U11-U14

 

There are two major elements of these sessions: 

​

1) Ignition: we aim to help IGNITE or further add to a love of the game. Nothing is more important than a young player loving the game. 

​

​

2) Technique: We aim to guide the player towards using the fundamental techniques required to play the game effectively, and to enjoy the game. 

​

Program: Ball mastery, 1v1, first touch, running with the ball, striking the ball (shooting and passing), teamwork. 

​

Current players have first right to a spot, please enquire for any other availability.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY SESSIONS

UNDER 8s - UNDER 16s

Arrival: 8:50am​

Start: 9:00am

Finish 3.00-3:10pm

​

Core skills focus: Running with the ball and first touch, scanning, communication and striking the ball (shooting)

​

Players will always be grouped by ability within age groups where possible to ensure maximum participation, positive learning opportunities and a fun experience for all. Players need indoor and outdoor shoes/football boots. Shin pads are compulsory. Players should arrive having applied sunscreen and also bring a hat and food for the day. 

​

    This program is by invitation or trial only, please enquire. Players travelling to Tottenham should try to enrol in this session. Players travelling to Tottenham will be given priority in this session however current players can re-enrol also. Tottenham players should have purchased a FS kit.

    A quick summary also allowing parents who need a kit to pay for one. Ts and Cs included. All families paying to travel on tour buy a ticket as acceptance of T and Cs and to confirm they have flights, health insurance and travel insurance and that they understand that this is their responsibility.

ONE OFF SESSIONS

Please enquire about one on one or a small group of 2/3 with the coach for your child/children. 

Times available can vary depending on coaches' commitments during season. A one-off session is for 50 mins at a time to be arranged. At the end of the session the coach will talk you through a pathway for your child based on their current level.

 

1 player: $75

With 2 players: $45 each.

With 3 players: $35 each.

For longer term bookings of 6 weeks or more for sessions such as these, discounts will apply.
